VISITING WILD SHORE

All of our customers will be required to adhere to our new strict measures while on site and participating in our activities at Wild Shore Delamere. In preparing and implementing our COVID-Safe procedures, we have referenced documents and guidance from the UK Government/Public Health England, Royal Life Saving Society and UK Aqua Parks Steering Group. 

STEP BY STEP GUIDE​

PRE-ARRIVAL

  • All Bookings processed and paid in full prior to arrival (online/phone)

  • All participants required to read/understand our COVID-Safe procedures along with our normal Terms & Conditions

  • All participants have viewed and understood our site orientation video

  • Participants encouraged to arrive changed, with their own equipment where possible

ON-ARRIVAL

  • Reduced capacity will enable customers to leave adequate spacing between vehicles when parking

  • Information boards and signage will be erected throughout the site promoting various measures including hygiene standards, hand washing facilities, social distancing measures and instructions to not attend for any participant or visitor 

  • Directional arrows guiding customers through the site

  • Social distance markers for queuing at reception and for hire kit 

  • No Booking – No Entry

HIRE KIT COLLECTION

  • Once way, socially distanced collection system in place

  • One kit issue – participants will receive all of their kit at once, no returning for additional hire kit once issued 

  • Single lane toward changing facilities

TOILETS & CHANGING

  • One participant to one changing cubicle, all changing outdoors

  • No clothing or personal materials left in changing cubicles 

  • Toilets will be available on site with significantly reduced capacity, all participants and customers are asked to go to the toilet prior to arriving on site

  • Showers will not be in use during this period

  • We will not be providing lockers during this period

  • Designated kit drop off areas for activities

ACTIVITIES

  • Socially distanced safety briefing 

  • Hand sanitisation prior to and on activities (hand sanitisation stations located around site and at the start of activities)

  • Wakeboaridng – One on One, no spectators on the dock

  • Aqua Park – One household, private hire

  • Aqua Chimp – Reduced capacity, multiple groups, strict social distancing

  • Tubing – One household

  • Stand Up Paddleboarding – Private group session (up to six, same household)

  • Open Water Swimming – Strict social distancing

POST ACTIVITY

  • Unfortunately due to parking and space restrictions on site, we would ask all participants and customers not to prolong their stay with us after their activity. This will allow us to ensure the safety of both customers and staff throughout the entire day. 

STAFFING & FURTHER INFO

  • We will have increased staff to help assist in the delivery of our COVID-Safe procedures and polices. If any customers are concerned while on site, we would encourage them to ask for assistance

  • Prior to arrival if customers have any concerns or queries regarding our COVID-Safe procedures, we would encourage them to get in contact via email or telephone

  • If you have been in contact with anyone showing symptoms we ask that you do not come down to site
