Open Water Swimming at Wild Shore Delamere is a safe and secure environment to get into the sport of open water swimming!
With safety instructors on SUP boards and a rest pontoon halfway round our longest course, you will always be looked after. Whether you are a beginner to the sport, training for an event or triathlon, or wanting to enjoy a leisurely swim surrounded by nature, the lake at Wild Shore will cater to your needs.
MINIMUM AGE: 13+
Please book in advance as we are unable to accommodate walk ins.
Both swim caps and tow floats are mandatory for Open Water Swimming.
OPEN WATER SWIMMING
Our Open Water Swimming sessions provide swimmers with a controlled environment to train, allowing you to focus on your session without worrying about tides, currents or water safety. We operate a 200m, 350m and 500m loop with safety SUP cover and further staff supervision from shore.
Wednesday: 12pm-5pm (book into a 2-hour session).
Saturday: 10am to 12pm
Sunday: 3pm-5pm
*All session subject to day light hours
£7.50 per person, per swim.
MINIMUM AGE: 13+
BRIGHT SWIM CAP AND TOW FLOAT ARE MANDATORY
