OPEN WATER SWIMMING
Wild Shore Delamere will be running Open Water Swimming sessions, starting from Saturday 7th September. We will operate the following times for September & October 2019:
Saturday: 10am to 12noon
Sunday: 4pm to 6pm
Wednesday: 5pm to 7:30pm*
*subject to day light hours
£6 per person, per swim.
The sessions will be run using the NOWCA, safe swimming system. This means everybody who swims, must wear a NOWCA wrist band and have signed up to NOWCA. This costs £12 per year (12 months from date you sign up).
In order to prevent queues on the site, we highly recommend that you sign up to NOWCA online, before you attend our sessions. Head over to www.nowca.org and hit the red 'REGISTER' button at the top of the page, complete the form, citing our venue name and you will be able to collect your wristband from us ready for your first swim! Your wristband can be used at all the NOWCA safety accredited lakes and venues all over the country.
You can also book and pay online, via the ACTiO Swimmers App. This will again, speed up the time on site and get you in the water quicker.
If you need someone to look after your kids while you go swimming, you could book them onto one of our other activities. For example our aqua park, wakeboarding or stand up paddle boarding. Age 8 and over, you can just sign them in and then go swimming! Age 6 & 7 needs an over 18 with them.
