With the natural environment being at the heart of what we do at Wild Shore Delamere, sustainability is a key priority for us. We understand the importance of protecting the natural environment that we all love to use, for today and for future generations. We have implemented a variety of eco-friendly practices to ensure our operations remain responsible and environmentally conscious.
Some of the ways we do this are:
Making sustainable and environmentally conscious choices when it comes to our cleaning supplies – For example, we choose to use refillable soap dispensers, allowing us to reduce our packaging by 70% compared to bottles.
Creating the #LoveOurLake campaign to encourage our customers to help us in keeping our lake clean and tidy by binning their rubbish in our provided General Waste and Mixed Recycling bins
We use an external company which sorts our recyclable waste
Using a digital terms & conditions form to reduce paper waste
We conduct scheduled lake sweeps to collect any discarded litter or debris from around our lake
All new and existing staff are given training to ensure we are aligned on our goal to be a sustainable business.
